# Step 2. Import Products

{% hint style="info" %}
Importing a product and making it sellable are different actions.

You still need to **send it to Shopify**. Then set it to **Active**.
{% endhint %}

### Steps

#### 1. Open Search Products

Open [**Search Products**](https://biz.hypercape.com/goods) in Hypercape BIZ.

#### 2. Add products to your Import List

Select target products. Send them to **Import List**.

#### 3. Review imported products (Import List)

Open [**Import List**](https://biz.hypercape.com/store/shopify/import). Review the products you imported.

{% hint style="warning" %}

#### Attention needed

* This page shows a list of the products that you have imported. This list hasn't been sent to your Shopify store yet. Once you've confirmed your imported products, click **Send to Shopify** to send them to your Shopify store.
* Shopify allows up to three pieces of information per second. When you hit **Send to Shopify,** it might take longer to load than you think. It's not an error, just be patient - it's a lot faster than sourcing products from Korea yourself.
  {% endhint %}

#### 4. (Optional) Set selling prices and product details

If you want to set a selling price, click **Variants**. Enter the selling price, then send it to your Shopify store.

#### 5. Send to Shopify

Click **Send to Shopify**.

{% hint style="info" %}

#### Tips

* If you want to set a selling price, then click **Variants** and enter the selling price and send it to your Shopify store.
* If you want to change your product pricing and information after you've sent the product to your Shopify store, then you can do so from your Shopify Admin page.
* Start with **3–5 products** first. Validate margin and fulfillment flow before scaling.
  {% endhint %}

{% hint style="danger" %}

#### DONT DO!

* You can change any information about a product in your Shopify admin page however you want, but you shouldn't change the product itself to another product. Our system recognizes your product as the product it was when you sent it to Shopify.
* Don't **copy** an imported product, sell the copy, then delete the original. Orders will NOT sync.
  {% endhint %}

#### 6. Activate the product in Shopify

In Shopify, make sure product status is **Active** (not Draft).

<br>

### Important Notes

* The product is **Draft by default** in Shopify. To sell, set it to **Active**.
* If you rename products in Shopify, order sync is not affected.
